'GTA 6': Map for next installment based on Borders of Mexico?

"Grand Theft Auto V" is heading to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One next month, and to PCs in January, but whispers about its sequel have already started to surface.

It has been almost a year since game developer Rockstar announced "GTA 5" for PS3 and Xbox 360. Gamers are waiting for the versions of the game for new gaming consoles from Sony and Microsoft as well as for personal computers. Rockstar is busy promoting the current version of the game to ensure high sales.

According to Redditor m15wallis, Houston, Texas could be the next location for the sixth installment of the high-speed car chase video game. The said location is apt for the video game since the place features a blend of rich and poor as well as urban and rural, which can give rise to interesting stories and side quests.

Moreover, "GTA 6" may feature the Borders of Mexico since it lies very close to Texas. This may yield a wide array of missions relating to drug cartel, trafficking, and other social and political issues surrounding the country border. Thus, new storylines can be explored and created with the addition of the new location.

However, further rumors about "GTA 6" are hard to come by and more details are expected to surface once the "GTA 5" PS4 and Xbox One versions come out on Nov. 18 and the PC version, on Jan. 27, 2015.

Rockstar explained that the delay of the PC version is for the improvement and development of the game to ensure that the game will be amazing and will work smoothly on all platforms. However, gamers can already start placing pre-orders for the "GTA 5." As a treat to the players, Rockstar Games gifts gamers who pre-order the game with $1,000,000 in-game bonus cash to spend across "Grand Theft Auto V" and "Grand Theft Auto Online."
