"Grey's Anatomy" season 12 episode 6, titled "The Me Nobody Knows" will see Penny (Samantha Sloyan) and Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) clash heads as they are forced to work together on a patient, even after the disastrous dinner party that happened in the previous episode.

During episode 5, Callie (Sara Ramirez) brought her new girlfriend Penny to the dinner party to introduce her to the former's friends. However, things went awry when Meredith revealed that Penny was one of the surgeons responsible for Derek's (Patrick Dempsey) death back in season 11.

The promo trailer for the episode reveals that the new transfer resident to Grey Sloan Memorial is none other than Penny and she is going to be assigned to work hand in hand with Meredith. It appears that Bailey (Chandra Wilson) is intentionally putting the two together in order for them to reconcile their differences.

However, as the trailer shows, it does not look like Meredith will be giving Penny a chance. There is also a scene in which Meredith immediately orders Penny to get out of the room and that she has been taken off the patient's case.

"Is there any part of this job that you can do?" Meredith is shown asking Penny after what appears to be a failed operation on a patient.

Further complicating Penny's transfer is a quick shot of her confronting Amelia (Caterina Scorsone). Amelia had lashed out against Penny during the previous dinner party after learning Penny's involvement in Derek's death despite being overtly friendly to her prior to learning Penny's secret.

Meredith and Penny's issues won't be the sole focus of the episode however. As reported by Cartermatt, the official synopsis for episode 6 also reveals Richard (James Pickens Jr.) struggling to progress his relationship with Maggie (Kelly McReary) while April (Sarah Drew) deals with a boy from the Middle East.

"Grey's Anatomy" season 12 episode 6, "The Me Nobody Knows," will air on Nov. 5.
