Following the footsteps of AT&T, U.S. carrier Sprint now offers the Google Nexus 6 for $0 upfront price, and interested buyers can start placing their orders on the website.

Sprint is selling the Google Nexus 6 for $0 downpayment under the company's Easy Pay plans and will oblige customers to pay $29 per month for 24 months. Buyers can also get the 32 GB Midnight Blue model of the device for $299, or $696 without commitment. However, the 64 GB version of the device is not available yet and there is no word about its future availability.

Meanwhile, AT&T started taking pre-orders of the Nexus 6 smartphone last week and will start shipping the device today. The carrier offers the Midnight Blue 32 GB variant of the smartphone.

Consumers can choose from the flexible payment options of the carrier: 30 payments for $22.77 per month with AT&T Next 24; 24 payments for $28.46 with AT&T Next 18; and 20 payments of $34.15 with AT&T Next 12.  For those consumers who do not want to be tied up with AT&T can get the Nexus 6 for $249.99 on a two-year contract or $682.99 off-contract price.

T-Mobile is reported to also offer the Nexus 6 starting Nov. 19 although the carrier has not revealed the pricing and shipping dates yet.

Google Play Store and Motorola have shortages when it comes to the supply of Nexus 6 smartphones. Thus, consumers can turn to U.S. carriers if they want to get the device. In Google Play Store, the unlocked version of the device is available for $649.99 for the 32 GB, while the 64 GB variant costs $699.99.

The Nexus 6 boasts a 6-inch screen display with Quad HD (1440 x 2560) resolution and 493 ppi; quad-core 2.7 GHz Snapdragon 805 SoC; Adreno 420 GPU; 3 GB of RAM; 32 GB  and 64 GB internal storage variants; Android 5.0 Lollipop OS; 13 MP rear camera; and 3220 mAh battery.

Consumers must watch out for upcoming Black Friday deals of the device as the shopping festival inches closer.
