The release date of Google Nexus 6, also dubbed as Nexus X, is expected to come really soon as the smartphone was reportedly seen in India. There is no word yet as to when it will hold its US release date.

Nexus X or Google Nexus 6 release date is reported to happen on Halloween or on October 31, which still falls in the October launch period. Other reports claim that the handset will arrive in November alongside other Google devices such as Nexus 8 tablet and a new Google wearable or smartwatch.

The device may sport a slightly higher price tag than the previous Nexus 5, although nothing is confirmed yet. Below are the top five features of the rumored Nexus X smartphone.

Screen Display

The device was reportedly spotted at AnTuTu benchmark and listed that it will pack a 5.2-inch screen panel with QHD display or 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution (565 pp)i.

Processor

The Nexus X will most likely pack the Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor with 64-bit architecture. This is necessary for packing Android L OS, which only runs on the 64-bit processors. The chipset will most likely be paired with 3GB of RAM but there are whispers that the handset will come with 4GB RAM.

Software

Google Nexus X will be paired with Android L operating system upon its release, which delivers faster and smoother performance. The new OS reportedly supports the battery capacity of the device by giving extra 36 percent battery life.

Camera

Rumors suggested that the upcoming Nexus X will come with a 13 MP rear shooter with 4K video capture and will be supplemented by a 2.1 MP front-facing snapper.

Battery

The next generation of Nexus smartphone will most probably be backed up by at least 2,500 mAh battery capacity.

However, Google has not confirmed nor denied any of these rumors. The company is unusually quiet about the details of its devices and roadmap.
