"Girl Meets World" season 3 is quickly setting up the reunion with the "Boy Meets World" cast with episode 10, which will see Shawn (Rider Strong) and Maya's mom Katy (Cheryl Texiera) get married. However, as reported by Ecumenical News, Maya (Sabrina Carpenter) might be against the wedding and could be halting it.
According to the report, the trailer for the episode showcases surprise guest Mr. Feeny (William Daniels) coming in to officiate the wedding. Riley (Rowan Blanchard), Maya and Topanga (Danielle Fishel) are all shown to be bridesmaids but it is still undetermined why Maya might want to stop the wedding from moving forward.
The report explains that it is very unlikely that Maya wants to really stop the ending. Instead, it is expected that she merely wants to say something important to her mother and to Shawn before they officially become husband and wife. It is also speculated that she merely needs assurance from Shawn and Katy that they will be a complete family.
Mr. Feeny's return also marks the beginning of the reunion with the cast of "Boy Meets World." As stated in a report from Variety, the whole cast will be returning for the season 3 finale of "Girl Meets World" and this includes the return of the two actresses that portrayed Cory's (Ben Savage) sister, Morgan, Lily Nicksay and Lindsay Ridgeway.
It is heavily speculated that the reunion will officially end the show and this has been hinted by the social media posts of the main cast members, particularly Rowan Blanchard. The studios have yet to confirm if the series is moving forward with a fourth season but as it stands it is possible that season 3 will end both "Boy Meets World" and "Girl Meets World" with its grand reunion finale.
"Girl Meets World" season 3 episode 10 will air this Aug. 12.
