'Game of Thrones' season 5 spoilers: 'Winds of Winter' already start filming?

Game of Thrones season 4 episode 5 HBO

Latest spoilers suggest that the "Game of Thrones" crew has started the filming for the "Winds of Winter" book.

There is a big possibility that "Winds of Winter" will be included in the fifth season of "Game of Thrones," as some of the characters were allegedly spotted filming scenes in George R.R. Martin's sixth novel for the "A Song of Ice and Fire" series.

There is a possibility that the teaser chapters of "Winds of Winter" could be adapted into the fifth season of "Game of Thrones." Spoiler website Winter Is Coming published some photos depicting a scene from the forthcoming book. Maisie Williams (Arya Stark), Roger Ashton-Griffiths (Mace Tyrell), Ian Beattie (Meryn Trant), and Mark Gatiss (Tycho Nestoris) were seen in the photos, which hints that they are part of the upcoming book.

According to the website, Tyrell and Trant are substitutes for the characters who do not have strong roles in "Game of Thrones" but are significant in the sample chapter of the book. The book "The World of Ice and Fire: The Untold History of Westeros and the Game of Thrones" will be launched on Oct. 28, 2014.

Meanwhile, recent spoilers that Bran Stark and the gentle giant Hodor will not be back in the fifth season of "Game of Thrones". Although Bran and Hodor are still present in the books of author George R.R. Martin, they are given less priority and less exposure as the small screen adaptation focuses on other characters. Moreover, HBO once claimed that they do not follow the books exactly as it is.

On the other hand, the production of the fifth season is currently underway in Europe; however, it was reportedly halted because the production crew was unable to get a permit to shoot one of the crucial scenes next season. Latest updates claim that the production team was given a go signal to film the controversial scene.

"Game of Thrones" season 5 is due to come back on air in June 2015.
