'Frozen 2' news: Kristen Bell gives official update on production and story

Arendelle sisters Elsa and Anna in Disney's 'Frozen' Disney Animation

Actress Kristen Bell, who voices Anna in "Frozen" and its upcoming sequel, recently sat down with Collider and revealed that the script is almost done, with only a few edits left. According to Bell, she is expecting to step into the studio by this month to begin voice recording, which indicates the film is already entering production.

Bell also revealed that the sequel wasn't designed as a mere cash-grab, which many speculated it to be given how big a box-office success the first movie was. While every movie is made for profit, Bell reiterated how important it is to director-writers Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck to deliver a story that is meaningful and relevant.

"The story is great, and they exude quality. What I know about that whole team is that they wouldn't just put something out to put it out. That's why it took them so long to even announce that we were doing a second one," she explained. "It took them a while because they wanted to figure out what story they needed to tell and what would be important and engaging and I think they found it."

When asked about Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, the song-writing duo that worked on the Academy Award-winning "Let It Go," Bell confirmed that she has not yet been asked to step into the studio to begin recording a new song for "Frozen 2," although she does go with the other cast members on a regular basis to record music for different theme parks across the globe.

As stated in the report, despite "Frozen 2" already beginning to record voices and work on the music, the production for the actual animation will take time, hinting that a trailer is still a few years away.

"Frozen 2" currently has no official release date, although it is speculated to be released by 2018 or 2019.

If you look at the Church of England’s communications all that it ever seems to highlight is the good works that Christians do to improve the temporal well-being of their neighbours. It is right to highlight these things, but they are not the primary reason for the Church’s existence.
