'The Fosters' season 3 spoilers: Callie and Brandon might get together in episode 9

Callie and Brandon in The Fosters ABC

"The Fosters" season 3 episode 9 sees the Fosters heading over to Idyllwild to watch Brandon (David Lambert) make his first big step toward his music career. However, as the promotional trailers show, there will be more in store for Brandon than just a family reunion.

Callie (Maia Mitchell) is experiencing trouble with her stay with the Fosters and if things continue as they are, it is possible that their adoption might go awry, forcing her to permanently stay with another family. While that might not sit well with the matriarchs Lena and Stef (Sherri Saum and Teri Polo), it might open doors for Brandon and Callie to get together.

As seen in the promotional trailer for the episode, there is a scene showing Brandon and Callie talking in front of the fireplace. The talking stops and they get a little intimate with each other, eventually leading to something steamy in the bedroom.

If they won't remain as foster siblings, then they might be able to stick together as lovers. This is not going to sit well with their foster families but there isn't any confirmation that this scene is even real. It could still be nothing more than a dream sequence.

Callie also has to deal with Carmen (Alicia Sixtos) lying about Rita (Rosie O'Donnell) hitting her, which caused Rita to be arrested. Carmen's bipolar disorder and the suspicion that Brooke (Alessandra Torresani) may be hiding leverage will come to light in this episode as well.

While things are going well for Brandon, his parents are reaching their breaking point. In the previous episode, Brandon called Stef and Lena out for "bringing in stray kids" into their family and home since the two couldn't stand being alone with the other. Now Stef is dealing with the fact that her kiss with Monte (Annika Marks) was more than just a one-time thing.

"The Fosters" season 3 episode 10 airs tonight on ABC.
