'The Fosters' season 3 spoilers: Family secrets tackled, AJ joining the Fosters in episode 3

The Fosters season 3 ABC Family

"The Fosters" season 3 episode 3 is titled "Deja Vu" and it will tackle a lot about things from the past coming up in the present. First off, Jude (Hayden Byerly) and Connor (Gavin MacIntosh) are still getting over the shooting incident that took place in the previous episode, and according to the official synopsis, they aren't done with guns just yet.

According to the synopsis via the IBTimes, Jude asks Connor to go to a gun range. That alone is a big hint that they are about to repeat another issue and get into more trouble. They already have enough weight on their shoulders after they decided to keep their relationship a secret during the season 3 premiere.

Stef (Teri Polo) is also keeping a secret from her life partner Lena (Sherri Saum). Fans of the show will recall that Stef shared a kiss with Monte (Anika Porter) back in season 2 and in the previous episodes of season 3, she was revealed to be bi-curious. Nothing has moved forward for the time being but Monte could try to take this one step further.

The promotional trailer shows Stef asking Lena if she is aware of Monte's sexual preferrences and it appears like she is attempting to admit to her partner that she had shared an intimate moment with Monte. How this will go is anyone's guess at this point but fans keep in mind that Stef has been able to keep this a secret for some time now.

Callie (Maia Mitchell) also has a secret and this one involve's the new member of the Fosters, AJ (Tom Williamson). Mike (Danny Nucci) has taken AJ in as his adopted son and that means AJ will always be around Callie. The promotional trailer shows her struggling to tell Mike about how AJ got her fired from her job.

"The Fosters" season 3 episode 3, "Deja Vu," airs this July 22.
