A new patch is now available for the personal computer (PC) and PlayStation 4 (PS4) versions of "Fallout 4."
Before players get too excited, however, the patch mostly dabbles in applying minor changes and fixes as opposed to anything major.
The new patch addresses some problems players have encountered either in quests or just during the course of going through the game, Gamespot reported.
To be more specific, the quests named "When Freedom Calls," "Reunions," and "Confidence Man" are those that will be fixed to finally get rid of the minor problems they have presented to some players.
"Fallout 4's" newest patch will also provide fixes for crashes that took place when players would jump into the water and then reload save files. It will also prevent players from getting stuck at the many terminals inside the game. Corvega Assembly Plant will also be tweaked by the update.
For the PC players of "Fallout 4," remapping will now be made available for number keys and remapping activate will now function as well on quick container.
Unfortunately for some PC players, the new patch has also reportedly affected mods, PC Gamer reported.
The new patch also happens to introduce a new launcher and that is being pointed to as the reason behind why the mods are not working.
Players can reportedly resolve this issue by following a step by step process.
First, they will need to launch the Nexus Mods Manager. After that, they can launch "Fallout 4" and then return to the mod manager, where they will have to enable the mods that were disabled by the launcher. Once that is done, the mods will be present again in "Fallout 4."
Currently, the new "Fallout 4" patch is available only for the PC and PlayStation 4 versions, but Xbox One owners don't need to worry as it is expected to arrive to their consoles before the end of the week.
