'Evolve' beta exclusively for Xbox One players

Xbox One users will be granted exclusive access to the open beta of "Evolve", a video game created and developed by Turtle Rock Studios, in January 2015. The schedule for this phase was announced during the appearance of a studio representative at Microsoft's Gamescom 2014 press conference.

According to prior reports, the much awaited game was initially slated for an earlier release. Fans have been reportedly informed before this latest announcement that "Evolve" will be available for open beta testing by fall of this year. However, the latest updates and changes on the game resulted in the delay of the beta phase release as well.

In this soon-to-be-released game by Turtle Rock Studios, players will definitely find the plot and characters to be reminiscent of the co-op-focused Left 4 Dead. The similarities of the previously launched game and "Evolve" have indubitably heightened the excitement of fans.

Turtle Rock Studios described this highly awaited video game as a cooperative-competitive hunting game. "Evolve" will purportedly offer four human player-controlled hunters. These gamers will then be tasked to battle a one player controlled monster. The nemesis monster was rumored to be described as one resembling an octopus.

In addition, Turtle Rock Studios was said to have placed the game in a science fiction world. To simply put it, the people will be fighting off aliens and monsters. In one of the rumored features of the game, the "hunt" mode is said to allow the aforementioned four alien hunters to team up. Subsequently, a fifth play will be granted control of the monster to be battled by the others. This creature will be constantly growing in size and strength in the game. These attributes will be able to ensure that "Evolve" provides players both competitive and cooperative multiplayer aspects.

Throughout the game, the players will be transported in a range of alien environments. These settings will be allegedly filled with artificial intelligence driven extra-terrestrial characters.

According to Turtle Rock Studios, "Evolve" will be available worldwide on February 10, 2015. The video game will be playable in different platforms, which include PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
