'Driveclub' DLC patch 1.5 update to bring game improvements

 Sony

The new update for the racing sim title "Driveclub' will be released by next week, just in time for a new DLC to be launched on May 26.

Developer Evolution Studios has detailed the upcoming update on their official Facebook page, listing down improvements and support changes for the racing game. The new patch, update 1.15, will bring general improvements on stability, usability, and game performance for the title.

Aside from general game fixes, there are also patch-specific updates for "Driveclub" players. To start, players are now given a new option where they can easily switch the On-Screen Display on and off while still in the middle of a race, even without pausing the game like before. In addition, the level cap has been raised to Level 55, and each new level will have a reward for players.

For additional gameplay content, there is now a list of statistics for all cars in the game, both for the exclusive items from expansion packs to vehicles from free downloads. Casual gamers and hardcore car fanatics will be pleased, too, as there are new images that will be showcased in-game to show off the best car and race images shared by other "DriveClub" players.

Aside from the patch notes, Evolution also details the upcoming expansion pack for the title. Dubbed as Lamborghini Icons Expansion Pack and Torque Tour Pack, these DLCs will be released on May 26. In addition, a new download will also add the DS Survolt as a free download on the PlayStation Store.

The Lambo Icons Car Pack will include the Reventon, Murcielago LP 670-4 Super Veloce, Sesto Elemento, and Diablo Super Veloce. It will also include five new trophies that can be won in 11 new events. In addition, every star in the new Lambo Tour will earn bonus livery.

The Torque Tour Pack also has 11 new events and five trophies, bonus livery for every star, and adds supports for two new livery packs.
