'Dragon Ball Super' episode 21 spoilers: Gohan and Krillin in trouble

 Toei Animation

The previous episode of "Dragon Ball Super" adapted most of the introductory scenes in the film "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection of F" such as Jaco arriving to warn Bulma of Freeza's return. Episode 21 will follow these events and will see Freeza begin his attack on Earth, with only the Z fighters fighting back until Goku and Vegeta arrive.

Titled "The Revenge Begins! The Vicious Freeza Army Attack Gohan!" the episode will see Freeza launch his 1,000 soldiers against the defenders of Earth. However, the promotional trailer also indicates that Krillin will be in trouble and that he will need someone to save him.

Back in the original "Dragon Ball Z" series, Freeza murdered Krillin, an act that caused Goku to turn Super Saiyan for the first time. This was referenced in the film and it appears that in the series' adaptation of the story, Freeza will single out Krillin and may even hand a reward to any of his soldiers that manages to kill Krillin for him.

Gohan's narration also points out that he too will be in danger, being the most powerful of the Z fighters present. He states in the preview trailer that even though he is accompanied by Piccolo, Tenshinhan, Krillin and Master Roshi they might be able to defeat all 1,000 fighters easily.

According to a report from Attack of the Fanboy, the next two episodes following this are titled "The Resurrection of Ginyu" and "Gohan in a Situation of Great Danger," both indicating plot points not seen in the original "Resurrection of F" movie. It is likely that the seeds that will further expand upon these storylines will be seen here in episode 21.

The trailer also showcases that while Freeza's soldiers attack Earth, Goku and Vegeta will continue their training with Whis on Beerus' planet. The quick scenes in the trailer showcase a few training methods not seen in the film.

"Dragon Ball Super" episode 21 will air this Nov. 29.
