PS4, XBox One versions of Diablo 3 to launch with Reaper of Souls expansion in August

Game maker Blizzard announced that "Diablo 3" will release a version of the popular game for Xbox One, Xbox 360, as well as for PlayStation 3 and 4. The console version of the game will be bundled with the latest expansion called "Reapers of Soul".

Blizzard also announced that "Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls - Ultimate Evil Edition" will be released on Aug. 19. The Xbox One and PS4 editions will retail at $59.99 whereas the PS3 and Xbox 360 editions will retail at $39.99.

Furthermore, the game maker also confirmed that the pre-orders and the game bundle's launch copies will come with a key to download the Infernal Pauldrons, which is an in-game item. The Pauldrons award Vitality, Life per Second, and Cooldown Reduction to characters as early as level 1. However, in order to redeem the code, players should connect to an internet connection and the item cannot be transferred across the platform.

The "Ultimate Evil Edition" also comes with an Apprentice mode, where low-scoring gamers receive bonuses when playing against high-scoring players.

Good news is that players can copy their old characters from the original version of Diablo 3 to the expanded version as long as the consoles come from the same line like Xbox 360 to Xbox One and from PS3 to PS4.

According to Latin Post, "The "Ultimate Evil Edition" features four-player multiplayer (online and/or local combined) and some features that are not found in the "Reaper of Souls" PC edition. Players can send a loot package to their friends known as "item gifting," but only after a Legendary item has been found. In addition, players can seek revenge against monsters that killed a friend's character through "avenger kills," although the beast will have gotten stronger from the victory."

"Diablo 3" garnered wide attention when it was released in 2012 and the console version was also highly anticipated by the gaming fans.
