One of the main changes coming to "Destiny" via the new "The Taken King" expansion set will be the way quests and bounties are managed in the game.
According to Luke Smith, "The Taken King" creative director, the new expansion set to arrive for the game was made with an emphasis put squarely on making quests more enjoyable to complete and the bounties more satisfying to claim. This is why the new expansion set has been designed to change the way players can manage quests and bounties within the game.
Firstly, a new tab named Progress will be added to Destiny's interface, according to Polygon. In this tab, players will basically be given the ability to better organize and view all the relevant details regarding the quests and bounties they may have finished with it or even just the ones they are still in the process of completing.
The Progress tab will also feature 16 different slots. Players will most likely also be glad to know that they will soon be able to hand in their bounties directly from this screen. Instead of a player having to make the tiresome trek all the way over to the Reef or the Tower, they can simply open up this tab and do what they do right there.
The new tab will also be the home of the reputation icons that were once located in the Inventory tab.
Lastly, players can take a quick look at how their quests are going by simply pressing a button on the directional pad and opening the information they want to access via the HUD, according to Gamespot.
Overall, the changes being made to "Destiny" via "The Taken King" expansion will be designed to improve convenience, at least in terms of the bounties and quests.
The revamped quest and bounty system together with other impending changes coming courtesy of "The Taken King" will be available on September 15, when the new expansion set is released.
