Bungie delivers the latest update to "Destiny" as promised and now the game offers a new event, changes in the Crucible, and several bug fixes to improve gaming experience.

Bungie announced the 2.1.1 update that features a new event titled "Crimson Days," which has already started and will end on Feb. 16 at 1 a.m. PST. To activate the quest, a player must head to the tower and talk to Lord Shaxx to have the quest called "Crimson Bonds." It was also noted that players need to be at least Level 40 to participate in the quest.

One highlight of the "Crimson Days" event is that there is a new game mode called Crimson Doubles. In this mode, two players will fight against their opponent also composed of two members.

When one team member is down, the remaining member will receive the "Broken Heart" buff, which helps in maxing stats and faster recovery. Before joining this mode, players should form fire teams first.

"Destiny's" update 2.1.1 also brought changes to the Crucible. Bungie indicated that players of the 3v3 game modes will no longer spawn special ammo in their inventory, which means that players need to fight over it to get it.

The limited-time Crucible event, Iron Banner, is also making a comeback, which will start on Feb. 23 at 10 a.m. PST until Feb. 29 at 1 a.m. PST. The announcement explained that Iron Banner Rank 5 armor pieces will be given immediately instead of given upon return to Orbit.

Apart from new content and tweaks to the existing event, Bungie also announced important fixes to annoying glitches. Players will no longer experience the glitch involving ogres teleporting in the King's Fall's Challenge mode. The problem with Vienna Singer ship dropping rates has also been addressed and loot tables in "Trials of Osiris" event have also been adjusted for more consistent rewards.

For general glitches, the developers have fixed problems involving emote incidents appearing twice and the issue on the Refer-a-Friend buff. For a complete list of fixes and other tweaks, click here.

Destiny is a first-person shooter game now available in Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and personal computer (PC).
