Thursday on "Days of Our Lives," Kate told Lucas that Justin forced her to offer Paul an endorsement deal. Kate thought that Paul would be a better fit for Countess Wilhelmina. Lucas then realized what Kate was up to — if Paul took the deal, then he'd be in San Diego, far away from Sonny. He said he wouldn't help her, but Kate reminded him that he went to prison to protect Will. Lucas remembered, but said that Will is a grown man and that he needs to fix his marriage. He wished Kate luck on her schemes before walking away from her.
Will told Marlena that Sonny found out that he bribed his therapist. His grandmother was surprised to hear this. He said that Sonny was angry with him and when he admitted that he cheated on him while he was in Los Angeles, things got worse for them. Will said that a guy who was hired to help him with rewrites got too close to him and flattered him endlessly. He said that he regretted it and he promised not to let it happen again. Marlena reminded him that he did let it happen again, with Paul.
"I can't stay faithful. Is that what you're saying," he asked.
She said he needs to talk to someone about why he's behaving this way.
Later, Will told Marlena that Sonny was on his way home. She advised him to listen to what Sonny had to say before speaking. As soon as Marlena left, Will called Kate for an update, who said she had nothing to report except that Sonny was with Paul before he left. Sonny arrived and Will confronted him about being with Paul. Sonny said he wanted to talk and this had nothing to do with Paul. They talked about Will making mistakes and Sonny said he could have done a better job handling things.
At TBD, Paul approached Kate and told her that he was accepting her offer.
