'Daredevil' season 2 season: crossover with 'Jessica Jones'

Daredevil starring Charlie Cox Netflix

"Daredevil" season 2 is set to introduce a few key characters to the Marvel Cinematic Universe such as Jon Bernthal's Frank Castle aka the Punisher. However, according to a report from Movie Pilot, there is now enough material to also include a brief crossover from another Netflix-Marvel series, "Jessica Jones."

According to the report, one of the biggest connections between the two shows is Claire Temple (Rosario Dawson), who serves as the MCU equivalent of Night Nurse from the comics.

She was first introduced in "Daredevil" season 1 as a friend and eventual medical aid to Matt Murdock aka Daredevil (Charlie Cox) and she then reprised the role in "Jessica Jones."

During the first season of "Jessica Jones," the titular character, played by Kristen Ritter, was being treated by Claire and they had a short conversation where Claire mentioned her time helping Daredevil. She then stated that if Jessica ever wanted to meet the Daredevil, Claire could arrange the meeting.

Then there is the matter of Pam's (Susie Abromeit) case. At the very end of "Jessica Jones" season 1, Pam was named the primary suspect in the murder of Wendy Ross-Hogarth (Robin Weigert). According to the report, it is possible that Matt and Foggy (Elden Henson) might step in as her lawyer.

Matt and Foggy proved themselves as effective lawyers in "Daredevil" season 1 and it is stated that there is a high possibility they might be the lawyers approached for Pam's case. Even if Jessica Jones herself does not make an appearance in "Daredevil" season 2, simply having Pam on the show will connect the two worlds in a natural manner.

Further implying that this might happen is a recent Twitter post from the official "Jessica Jones" account. The post showcases a business card for Nelson and Murdock's law firm and the caption for the post reads "You never know who you might run into around Hell's Kitchen."

"Daredevil" season 2 premieres in 2016.
