Chelsea will play Sporting Lisbon tonight in the Champions League in what should be an intriguing match up.

The game takes place from the Estadio Jose Alvalade in Lisbon, and that should provide a tense backdrop as the Blues will look to steal three points on the road. The game will start at 7.45 p.m. BST (2.45 p.m. EST), and can be watched online through live stream via the link provided below.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has established himself as a Champions League specialist and he will attempt to navigate the Blues through the group stages this season and all the way to the final.

However, he knows how difficult today's game potentially could be. He has said that he will start striker Diego Costa for today's Group G match up.

Costa, 25, has taken a slight knock to his hamstring and was only able to make substitute when the team drew their opening group game with Schalke.

Failing to claim three points in their opening game means today's match is even more important, and the Blues will not be satisfied with another draw today.

Talking about Costa, Mourinho has said ahead of the game: "There is a risk, yes, but he plays. Hopefully everything goes well. It's an important game for us."

Costa has already established himself as one of the core players in the Blues' team, and so far her has scored eight goals in seven league and cup appearances this season.

Chelsea will be hoping he can provide some much needed fire power up front and put the Portuguese team on the back foot.

Tonight's big game between Chelsea and Sporting Lisbon will kick off at 7.45 p.m. BST (2.45 p.m. EST) and can be watched online through live stream by clicking here.
