'Bones' season 10 premiere: A dead man could help Booth get out of jail

The first episode of the tenth season of "Bones" may immediately tackle the biggest conspiracy, and dealing with it may help Seeley Booth get out of jail.

FOX just released the official synopsis of the first episode of "Bones" season 10, and it hinted that the team will deal with the biggest case immediately upon the return of the show. The premiere episode of the series is entitled "The Conspiracy in the Corpse."

According to the synopsis, Booth's wife Temperance Brennan and the rest of the Jeffersonian team will work hard to get Booth out of jail and clear his name. The remains of an unidentified man will lead the team to unravel why the perpetrators framed Booth and sent him to prison. The remains of the man who died 16 years ago will be the starting point of the team's investigation of the government's conspiracy which caused Booth's incarceration.

Meanwhile, Booth will have a new adversary next season as a new and politically ambitious FBI agent will join the cast. John Boyd was reported to play this role as FBI Special Agent James Aubrey. Moreover, one of the challenges that Booth will have to face next season is the fact that most of the criminals in prison he was in were the ones he arrested.  It is likely that they'd want to seek vengeance.

A lot of guest stars will appear next season, including the following:

  • Patricia Belcher as AUSA Caroline Julian
  • Eugene Byrd as Dr. Clark Edison
  • Carla Gallo as Daisy Wick
  • John Boyd as FBI Special Agent James Aubrey
  • Sterling Macer, Jr. as Deputy Director Victor Stark
  • JD Cullum as Glenn Durant
  • Sam Anderson as Hugo Sanderson
  • David Fabrizio as Kevin Brady
  • Daniel Lee Robertson III as Kenny
  • Sunnie Pelant as Christine Booth
  • Rance Howard as Jerold Norsky.

"Bones" season 10 will return to FOX on September 25 at 8 p.m. EST.
