Third-person point and click horror game "Black Mirror" is returning with a reboot on Nov. 28. The announcement trailer was released in August.

The game is set in 1926 Scotland and players will jump into the shoes of David Gordon as he faces the perils of his ancestral home. David is returning home after his father's suicide hoping to unearth the secrets and terrors that led to his father's horrible fate.

Inspired by H.P. Lovecraft and Edgar Allan Poe, "Black Mirror" is a spooky, psychological adventure waiting to be unraveled. Not much information about the game has been released yet. However, in an August interview with IGN, producer Martin Kreuch from developer THQ Nordic shed some light on what fans of the previous game and new players alike can expect from the latest "Black Mirror" release.

The game gives up its old, distant camera angles in favor of close-ups and cutscenes. Players will still be exploring the mansion in search of clues and despite the third-person camera style, the reboot retains some of its old point and click adventure aesthetics.

Meanwhile, the announcement trailer is shrouded in mystery. Only two minutes long, it begins with a man standing on the edge of a cliff. He's reaching out for a girl before him as she slips and falls in slow-motion. Her fingers slip from his grasp and as she plummets down the cliff, several shadowy arms reach out from the ground below. They wrap themselves around the girl and pull her into the darkness underneath. She disappears and the trailer gives way to the upcoming game's title.

"Black Mirror" was originally released in 2003 for PC. It follows the same storyline, with players playing as Gordon after he returns to his home to solve his father's suicide. The reboot of "Black Mirror" will be coming to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
