'Beauty and the Beast' season 3 spoilers: Cat gets two aunts, while Vincent gets a rival?

The third season of the CBS police-drama "Beauty and the Beast" will not be shown until next year. The specific release date remains undisclosed, too, but thankfully, a dose of spoilers are made convenient for every fan's delight.

New little niceties are out, and one of them is pertinent to the previously nameless sixth episode of the series. In TV Line's answer to a fan question, the site made a major tip-off that a small branch of Cat's (Kristin Kreuk) family tree will soon be unearthed.

According to the website, the series is looking for two actresses of Asian descent to play Cat's aunts for the episode titled "Chasing Ghosts."  They need to be in their 40s or 50s, with Lily playing the "no-nonsense" of the pair, while Claire will be the "family peacekeeper."

More on Cat's family: according to Fashion & Style, Cat's sister in the show, Heather (Nicole Gale Anderson), has been developed into a regular character. Brad Kern, the show's Executive Producer, explains that an actress as "terrific" as Anderson cannot just go away, leading them to grab her before she could sign up for another series.

"We think she's an important part of the show to develop Cat's character and her family background better," Kern said in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. "That's something we didn't get to do as much as we wanted to. But Nicole's a terrific actress and her character is cool."

Another character to watch out for will show up in the fifth episode. He will be known as Detective Wesley Atchison, who will be portrayed by "Golden Boy" pin-up Brandon Gill. The character is rumored to pursue Cat, making him someone Vincent (Jay Ryan) would not get along with.

The first five episodes have also been given titles all in the name of thrill: "Beast of Wallstreet," "Primal Fear," "Bob & Carol, Vin & Cat," "Heart of the Matter," and "Most Dangerous." It is all the nicer to discover that these are not even half of the 22 awesome episodes to look out for in the upcoming season.

Shooting has commenced and the series' 2015 premiere is not that far-off. So it's safe to say that it won't be long before viewers, for the third time, will be enthralled with the pair of Cat and Vincent.
