'Batman vs Superman' spoilers, plot rumors: Flash to have a cameo

The Flash will have a short a cameo in the upcoming "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" film next year, to be played by Ezra Miller, but very little official news has come out regarding the character. A recent report from DCEU Feed (via Twitter) now gives some details on what the Flash will look like in the film.

According to the post, actor Ezra Miller described his character Barry Allen to a fan and explained that he will keep his long hair in the film. This is a very big contrast to the television version of Barry Allen, portrayed by Grant Gustin, who keeps his hair short similar to the character's appearance in the comics.

The post says Miller will also have a "ripped physique" instead of a big, bulky build which makes sense given that his character's powers relate to speed and agility instead of brute power and strength.

Most interesting, however, is the statement that The Flash's costume will have a post-apocalyptic look to it. There is no explanation as to what a "post-apocalyptic" costume will be like but according to Cinema Blend, this may be a reference to the darker tones that the DC superheroes are sporting in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice."

After all, the promotional image of Jason Momoa as Aquaman has tossed out the usual green and orange duds for a darker look with lots of silver and faded colors. The same can be said for Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman and even Henry Cavill's Superman, wherein their costumes have a much darker hue compared to their bright comic-book counterparts.

There are no confirmations from Ezra Miller or Warner Bros. Pictures, so the information may just be a rumor.

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" will be released in theaters on March 25, 2016.
