"Attack on Titan" season 2 will not only be heavy with action, but it will also be chock-full of jaw-dropping revelations that will change the way fans see some of the characters.

In the manga, Krista was revealed to be Historia Reiss, the surviving member of the Reiss family. Krista, who undoubtedly continues to be an asset on the Survey Corps, is actually the heir to the throne.

Krista is simply the alias that she took after the brutal murder of her mother (the crime was done in front of her). In "Attack on Titan" season 2, her true personality and identity will be revealed.

Krista was expected to meet her demise when she joined the military but Ymir helped her become one of the most skilled on the team despite being smallest among them.

The character figures prominently in the "Uprising" arc in the manga by Hajime Isayama, which is expected to be featured in "Attack on Titan" season 2.

During this part of the story, Krista's true identity is revealed and was first discovered by Eren and Hange, who attempted to convince her to take on the role of the queen.

However, prior to all this, it was revealed that her father, Rod Reiss was actually alive and that he is a Titan Shifter. In the manga, his Titan form was considered bigger than the Colossal Titan, which should be exciting to see pan out in "Attack on Titan" season 2.

Rod abducted Historia and Eren and tried to convince the former that the latter killed the kings before him. Historia saw through Rod's lies and in the end decided to bring death to his own father.

This will definitely be an exciting storyline to see come to life in "Attack on Titan" season 2 and it will certainly change the way fans see Krista.

"Attack on Titan" season 2 is expected to premiere early next year.
