"Arrow" star Stephen Amell is no stranger to crossovers. "Arrow" season 4 featured a crossover with "Constantine" and the actor has been in "The Flash" and "Legends of Tomorrow."

According to a new rumor from Cinema Blend, Amell may also appear in an episode of "Supernatural" season 11.

According to the report, there is an upcoming episode where Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Sam (Jared Padalecki) will be encountering supernatural entities causing trouble for an on-going wrestling tour.

Both shows are on the CW network.

However, Amell will not be coming in "Supernatural" as his "Arrow" character Oliver Queen. Instead, the report states that he is likely going to be portraying an ambitious rookie wrestler named Shawn Harley.

Amell has been featured in the "WWE" series and even had an on-going feud against professional wrestler Stardust (real name Cody Rhodes). During Amell's appearance on the wrestling show, he got entangled into a tag-team match and eventually won, earning him a Slammy Award in the process.

The report even points out that it might be beneficial to cast Rhodes as the other wrestler known as Gunnar Lawless, a "regretful legend." The third character being introduced is a female manager named Rio.

However, the biggest hint that this crossover might occur is from Stephen Amell's very own Twitter account. The actor has recently posted a photo where he is sitting down watching an episode of "Supernatural." There are no captions to the image and it is likely a very tongue-in-cheek tease of what's to come.

Cinema Blend also points out that Amell's Twitter post surfaced just about the same time the details regarding the "Supernatural" episode were released online, giving the indication that it is more than just a mere coincidence.

"Arrow" season 4 will continue after its midseason break this coming Jan. 20 while Amell's appearance on Supernatural will be on season 11 episode 15, which is expected to air in late March or early April. According to TVLine the episode will begin production this January.
