'Ant-Man' spoilers: Michael Douglas praises Peyton Reed, excited to be part of Marvel,

Seasoned actor Michael Douglas expressed his excitement about being part of one of Marvels movie, and he had good words to say about "Ant-Man" director Peyton Reed.

"He's good. I haven't started yet, actually — I go down tomorrow, and it's my first day," Douglas told Vulture. "So I've met him a couple times, but he seems to be in control of this beast, this wild beast. Marvel has got it down to a science, pretty much, and they've got kind of a phenomenal track record. I love this picture they did this summer, Guardians of the Galaxy. It's really good! I think that's given Marvel the confidence to step out in this whole new area, so I'm looking forward to adding to it."

Douglas plays Dr. Hank Pym, a scientist who hires a burglar to look after his size-changing technology. Things go wrong, and the thief is transformed into Ant-Man, one of the world's greatest superheroes who defends humanity from evil forces.

Scott Lang a.k.a Ant-Man is portrayed by comedian Paul Rudd. Thus, it is expected that the "Ant-Man" movie will be a mixture of funny and action. Peyton Reed will most probably use the same formula he used in "Guardians of the Galaxy."  But the director also has to make the movie unique and interesting in its own right -- after the huge success of Guardians of the Galaxy, as well as the other Marvel movies including Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, X-Men, there is high expections of "Ant-Man."

Other than Rudd and Douglas, the film also stars  Evangeline Lilly as Hope Van Dyne, Pym's daughter, and Corey Stoll as Darren Cross who is the film's antagonist.  Recent news say that the cast and crew have already started filming in San Francisco.

To further entice the marvel fans, Marvel released a test footage at the Comic Con. "Ant-Man" slated to be released on July 17, 2015.
