"American Horror Story" season 6 is in production and singer-actress Lady Gaga has shared via Twitter one of the first teaser trailers for the upcomong season. The trailer jives with the themes described in a report from Pop Wrapped that stated the season will focus on childlike and cultish themes and will be set in a farmhouse and forest.

The teaser trailer showcases four main clips. The first is that of a child's crib where a monster's hand reaches up to the knife hanging above the baby's sleeping area. The second clip is of a centipede crawling over Lady Gaga's character, who has white hair and eerily pale skin.

A woman is seen running down a flight of steps in the third clip but her ankle is suddenly grabbed by a bloody hand and in the fourth clip a family of three slowly walk towards the camera, their eyes glowing with a sinister intent. The exact meaning of these clips is still unknown and the main logo of season 6 is constantly teased, particularly in one snapshot where the logo is made of smoke, bellowing out of a farmhouse.

Pop Wrapped reports that the farmhouse and a forest will be the main setting for the season and that the themes are primarily inspired by the likes of "Peter Pan" and dark, twisted horror. Lady Gaga's character is also described as a fairy who will be killing one of the main characters using "fairy dust."

"The Exorcist" and "Deliverance" are also stated as influences and there will be some presence of a cult in the season.

It is further explained that actress Jessica Lange, who is a veteran of the anthology series, is not coming back for season 6. Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Matt Bomer, Wes Bentley, Denis O'Hare, Cheyenne Jackson. Leslie Jordan, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Finn Wittrock and will be returning alongside Lady Gaga.

"American Horror Story" season 6 premieres this Sept. 14.
