'American Horror Story' season 6 spoilers: Satan's child from season 1 reportedly featuring again

 FX

The first set of teaser trailers for "American Horror Story" season 6 have been released, and as previously reported, the show's trailers seem to indicate a strong focus on the occult and devil worship while setting the story in a farmhouse or forest. A new report indicates that the season 6 may even feature, if not focus on, the Satan child born back in the first season.

During season 1, dubbed the "Murder House" season, it was revealed that the child born in the family was in fact going to be the child of Satan that would bring about the end of the world given that it was a child born between the lust of a living woman and a dead spirit. This child was kidnapped and taken by the show's finale as the rest of the family had died and become permanent residents in the Murder House.

As stated in a report from Collider, one of the trailers showcase an infant's crib that has a rotating mobile with hanging knives instead of toys. A hand then reaches up to grab one of the knives, indicating that this may be the teaser that brings back the Satan child.

Fans further speculate that the Satan child will be the main figure at the center of the cult this season will introduce. It is possible that a cult in the farmlands or forest will be worshipping the demonic child.

Collider continues to point out that during the release of season 5 the studios did confirm that all of the seasons were very loosely connected, making it even more possible that the Satan child would indeed be making a return for season 6.

However, FX has yet to even confirm if the rumor is indeed true. The studios have yet to announce the official title for "American Horror Story" season 6, but as reported by the IBTimes, the show will see the return of Lady Gaga, who is portraying a person with both a "childlike" personality and can kill someone with just fairy dust.

"American Horror Story" season 6 premieres this Sept. 14.
