AMD Vega 10 GPU Radeon RX 490 release date, specs news: Video card expected by end of the year

AMD Radeon RX 480, the current model available AMD

AMD has already released three of their brand-new video cards, the Radeon RX 460, Radeon RX 470 and the Radeon RX 480. However, the company has not yet released the Radeon RX 490, and according to a report from Ecumenical News, it is possible that this much more powerful GPU will launch before the end of the year.

All of AMD's new GPUs utilize the Polaris 10 and Polaris 11 architecture, making them some of the most powerful video cards the company has ever made. However, rumors suggest that the yet-to-be-released Radeon RX 490 is going to utilize the Vega architecture, giving it a memory larger than 256 bit, making it larger than what the 480 and 470 provide.

The report also states that the Radeon RX 490 is designed with gamers who want to optimize their gaming experience with 4K displays. Most games are compatible with 4K resolution settings but not many video cards can optimize this setting to display it in its full size.

It is further stated that the documents for the numerous AMD video cards indicate that the Radeon RX 490 may release from September to December, particularly since many gadgets and devices launch in September such as the annual launch of iPhone models.

However, the report continues to explain that AMD has yet to respond regarding the information and that the full capacity of the Radeon RX 490 and its supposed release date should still be taken as pure rumors until the company makes a formal announcement.

As previously reported, the Radeon RX series of video cards are designed to be just as powerful as some of the most popular GPUs out in the market such as the Nvidia GTX 1080 but at a much lower price. Most of the Radeon RX video cards cost under $200 while Nvidia cards can cost from $400 to nearly $1,000 depending on their quality and full power capabilities.

Does the Church of England need to re-think its messaging?

If you look at the Church of England’s communications all that it ever seems to highlight is the good works that Christians do to improve the temporal well-being of their neighbours. It is right to highlight these things, but they are not the primary reason for the Church’s existence.
