Aaron Carter to release first album in 15 years next month

American pop singer and former child star Aaron Carter has confirmed that he will be releasing a brand-new album soon. This will be the first time in 15 years for Carter since he last came up with a new album. On top of that, he is also scheduled to go on tour just one month after his album comes out.

Carter officially teased the album on Twitter last Tuesday, Jan. 30, wherein he stated, "Bout to drop that new music on ya." This generated a lot of responses, which proves that despite not coming up with an album for so long, his fans still look forward to new material. The title of the upcoming album is "LøVë."

He said in a statement, as reported by Entertainment Tonight, that music, to him, is of utmost importance. The 30-year-old singer shared that he does not "dwell on the past" — possibly alluding to some of the controversies that he previously was involved in. Fortunately for Carter, he has learned from his past mistakes and is positively looking toward a better future for himself and for his fans through his music.

Furthermore, Carter shared that the upcoming album was made with a lot of emotions. In fact, he went on to say that "LøVë" comes from a very intimate place from within himself, and that he poured a lot of his emotions into creating very personal songs. It appears that Carter has been doing very well ever since he and his brother Nick reconciled in 2017, ending their long-standing feud.

Prior to the announcement Carter made last Tuesday, he released a single titled "Don't Say Goodbye," which came out last December. Some have predicted that based on "Don't Say Goodbye," the songs in the upcoming album may be heavily inspired by trans and electronic dance music. However, Carter has not revealed the theme of "LøVë," perhaps to keep his fans at the edge of their seats until it has been released.

The album "LøVë" is scheduled to be made available on Feb. 16 later this year.
