'19 Kids and Counting': Duggar family's eldest daughter Jana Dugger and twin John-David

The Duggar family.

Jana Duggar, the oldest daughter of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, is 24 and single. The "19 Kids and Counting" star has not made many appearances on the show

According to reports, Jana has been taking care of her younger siblings since she was their age, most of them under the age of 16. Jana has long embarked on the parenting role, getting most of the part in raising 16 kids. Her turn in the limelight happens once in a blue moon and, when she does appear, she is shown doing babysitting tasks.

Jana's younger sister Jill, 23, is married and pregnant, while Jessa, 21, who is engaged to Derrick, will tie the knot really soon. When asked about dating, the 24-year old answered that she's "good with just waiting for now." The Hollywood Gossip states that "the most likely explanation of Jana's single status is that she and Jim Bob just haven't found The One yet," especially with the dating rules in the Duggar family.

While the rest of the family engage on celebrations here and there, Jana is reportedly busy preparing for Jill and Derick's wedding. It is said that she had been tasked to sew bridesmaids and flower girl dresses in light of her skills as a seamstress.

Jana, in the middle of the heavy workload in the big family, is building a career as a midwife. John-David, Jana's twin, is also reported to be single just like her.
