WWE return rumors 2016: Bill Goldberg reportedly planning to come back

WWE 2K17 - Goldberg 2K Games

Bill Goldberg, a WCW and WWE veteran, will be appearing in the upcoming video game "WWE 2K17" and in a recent interview with the WWE, it is hinted that Goldberg may be coming back to the entertainment sport very soon and that he has spoken to wrestler Triple H once in the past decade about a potential return.

Goldberg confirmed that over the past 12 years he has received a lot of fan apreciation and demand to return to the ring but also stated that in the end the decision was not his to make. The WWE would have to make the final confirmation for a WWE return.

He did spoke to Triple H once but these were reportedly just casual conversations that never rose to the point where negotiations could be made. Goldberg also explained that after leaving the WWE he was content eonugh with his career that he considered never coming back.

"I know this is a very big step for me in that I've been away from WWE for a long period of time and I never really ever saw myself being involved with them again, but along came my wonderful son and it opened up the possibility of doing something with the WWE again and I'm grateful to be in this situation," he explained further.

It is notable that his son was not yet born when Goldberg was active in the ring. According to the interview Goldberg wanted to show his son what he used to do for a living, as a professional wrestler for the WWE.

The wrestler also stated that his inclusion in "WWE 2K17" is a great honor and that he had no other intentions or goals when he agreed to be in the game. Goldberg states that if his inclusion in the game leads to something else, such as a return to the sport, then he would deal with it as it comes along.
