World Series live stream 2014: Giants vs Royals -How to watch online [FOX TV schedule]

Game 2 of the 2014 World Series takes place on Wednesday night at the Ewing M. Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. The Kansas City Royals must bounce back from a devastating defeat in Game 1 if they are to stand any chance of winning the Championship. If they lose again today and go 0-2 down heading into a three-game road trip to San Francisco not many would give them a chance of being able to overturn the deficit.

Today's World Series 2014 Game 2 between the Giants and Royals will start at 8.07 p.m. EST and can be watched on Fox. The game will also be available for live stream online via MLB.com through the link provided below.

As devastating as Game 1's 7-1 loss was to the Royals, they can take some comfort in the fact that last time they played in the World Series in 1985, they lose Game 1...and Game 2, but went on to win the Championship in a dramatic turnaround. They of course will hope to wipe out the deficit tonight with a win so that they can travel to San Francisco for Game 3 with things all square, but even if they lose again tonight, they are one team in the MLB that will know it's not over till it's over.

The Royals will also realize putting a string of victories together is by no means out of their reach; they won eight straight postseason games this season prior to their loss in Game 1.

Royals manager Ned Yost said ahead of the game, "No doubt, we knew this series was going to be a battle, too. We didn't expect to come in here and sweep the San Francisco Giants. We knew that this was a series that was going to go deep."

Game 2 will see Kansas City youngster Yordano Ventura go up against San Francisco's Jake Peavy. Sans Madison Bumgarner, who played in Game 1, many expect this series to become a battle of the bullpens, and it will be interesting to see who can come out on top tonight.

Game 2 of the 2014 World Series between the San Francisco Giants and the Kansas City Royals will start at 8 p.m. EST and can be watched on MLB.com by clicking here.
