A western-themed multiplayer game "Wild West Online" entered early access earlier on Nov. 15. The game is aiming for a full release towards the end of 2017.

The game follows in the footsteps of an open-world roleplaying game "Red Dead Redemption" and players will be placed into the shoes of their very own player character as they get into gunfights, explore the Wild West, and finish an assortment of quests all in the name of gold and glory.

"Wild West Online" while new, already boasts around a 100 or so quests for those who purchase the early access version. According to video game news site, PC Gamer, that's not the only thing the early access version has in store for eager would-be cowboys and cowgirls. Aside from quest variety, "Wild West Online" will be offering an assortment of weapons to choose from, animals to hunt, horses to ride, enemies to defeat, and wonderful rewards to earn.

The early access version will also be giving excited players a taste of the game's player versus player (PVP) system. Players will be able to pit themselves against friends and other players as they go toe-to-toe in heated competitions of skill and strength. Two other events known as Golden Road and Artifact Hunt will also be available for players to test, however, not much information has been given on these game modes, so excited players will have to find out for themselves in game.

There are currently three versions of the game already up for sale. There's the townie edition, the cheapest version of early access that's currently selling for €29.99. There's the pioneer edition for €49.99. It comes with extra goodies and treasury notes. Finally, there's the collector's edition which includes early access, treasury notes, extra storage slots, in-game land, and a few other goodies. The collector's edition is the most expensive version of the game and is currently selling for €79.99.

Alongside the game versions, is a warning from the developers. The game is currently in its alpha stage, meaning that while it will be playable, there will be bugs and problems on the horizon.
