Mexico and Croatia will face off on Monday to decide who will progress to the Last 16 of the 2014 World Cup. Technically both teams could still progress if they draw, but that would also require Cameroon pulling off arguably the biggest shock of the World Cup by defeating hosts Brazil.

Today's game between Croatia and Mexico has a scheduled kick off time of 4 p.m. EST and will be broadcast on the ESPN network. The game is also available to be watched online through live stream – free for subscribers – via the link provided below.

Mexico have made the knock out stages of the World Cup for the past five tournaments and they are hoping to make that six consecutive World Cups by winning against Croatia today.

Meanwhile Croatia have not been anywhere near as successful. They have not made the knock out stages since their debut at the World Cup in 1998. That year they stunned the footballing world by making the semi finals. They will be hoping for a repeat of that success this year in Brazil.

Croatia head coach Niko Kovac has said, "The match against Mexico will be like a final. Mexico are strong, but so are we. The Mexico players are very patriotic, just like us, and they have a great team spirit."

He added, "They play some aggressive football with a lot of pressing. They are strong going forward, but also have some weaknesses in defence, like Brazil showed us."

Croatia and Mexico will kick off their game at 4 p.m. EST and the game can be watched online through live stream by clicking here.
