Urban Saints Creates 'Ready-Made' Mission

A ready-made mission package for every kind of community - from remote rural villages to inner city council estates - has been launched by Urban Saints to coincide with Hope08.

Urban Saints, formerly known as Crusaders, have created 'Re: Act 2008' to help churches reach out to their localities with a full programme of activities. Teams of young people are being trained and made available to put on two key events in a variety of settings across the UK.

Inspired by programmes like SOULINTHECITY and The Message 2000, Hope08 is designed to be a catalyst for churches of all denominations to run community projects, youth festivals, family events, schools work and lifestyle courses throughout 2008.

As part of the Re: Act 2008 mission, throughout the summer of 2008, churches can book the team to bring the Gospel message in a way that is relevant and sensitive to "seekers".

Churches have been asked to apply for information packs, and arrange a leadership meeting and planning process if they wish to organise a mission event.

Churches are encouraged to work together - to help promote unity.

Urban Saints has been reaching out to children and young people for the last hundred years. For more information please visit: www.urbansaints.org
