
The IFA 2014 trade show is kicking off today and various companies participating in the event will launch their flagship smartphones.
Below are the top five smartphones coming to the IFA trade event:
Samsung Galaxy Note 4
Samsung is bound to unveil the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 in its Unpacked event scheduled today. The phablet will pack upgraded specs and features compared to the Galaxy Note 3. Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is rumored to pack a quadHD screen display with 2,560 x 1,440 pixel resolution, a 64-bit processor, an Android 4.4.3 Kitkat operating system, a 3GB RAM, and a 3 megapixel front-facing camera. The phablet is purported to come in two variants: the international variant will come with an Exynos chipset and the unit released in the U.S. will pack the Qualcomm's Snapdragon processor.
Sony Xperia Z3
Japanese manufacturer Sony is also planning to release its own flagship smartphone – Xperia Z3. The new smartphone will include slightly refreshed specs and features compared to its predecessor Xperia Z2.
Sony Xperia Z3 will resemble its predecessor, Sony Xperia Z2, in terms of design and form. The Z3 is purported to pack a 5.2 inch Full HD screen display, a 2.3GHz quad core Snapdragon 801processor paired with 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage capacity, a microSD card slot for additional storage as well as a 20.7 MP rear camera and a 2-megapixel front shooter.
Moto X+1 (X2)
Motorola sent out invitations to its launching event of the Moto X+1 or the Moto X2 on Sept. 4 and had already sent out the invites to the press. The smartphone will be launched alongside Moto G and Moto 360 based on the photo in the invitation. After the launch, the handset will head to key carriers and retailers on Sept. 25.
According to rumors, Moto X+1 will pack a 5.2" display that offers 1080x1920p resolution. The next gen Moto X handset will come with a 1080p full HD display and slimmer bezel. This is powered by a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 processor with 2GB RAM, a 32GB internal storage, microSD support, a 12MP rear camera with a 5MP front shooter, and a 2900mAh battery.
Lenovo Vibe X2
Lenovo will be unveiling its Vibe X2, which is probably the first smartphone to run with the Android L OS. Reports stated that the smartphone will come with a 2.2GHz octa-core CPU, a 5-inch full HD display, and a 13 megapixel rear camera.
LG G3 Stylus
LG G3 Stylus was formally introduced to the public and it comes with a stylus. Based on the specs sheet of the device, the LG G3 Stylus has lower features compared to the LG G3 smartphone.
The LG G3 Stylus comes with 5.5 inch screen display with 540 x 960 pixel resolution, a quad core chipset clocked at 1.3 GHz, 8GB of internal storage, a 13 MP camera, a 1.3 MP front-facing camera and a 3,000 mAh battery pack.
