LG G3 is now available for purchase in various carriers and retail stores. However, there are complaints of problems found in the handset.

LG G3 features a 5.5-inch True HD-IPS + LCD capacitive touchscreen; a quad-core 2.5 GHz Krait 400 CPU and a Qualcomm MSM8975AC Snapdragon 801 chipset; 13 megapixel primary back camera with optical image stabilization, phase detection and dual-LED flash and 2.1 MP front facing camera; and 3000 mAh battery.

Below are the top 3 problems encountered by LG G3 users and their solutions.

1. Interface slowing down or freezing

Some users complained that LG G3 sometimes freezes as well as lag issues. There are some noticeable delays when one is performing a certain action or launching an app. It seemed that the smartphone does not have the processing power needed to support the different processes or tasks.

Solution: Deactivate the use of animated display that probably caused the lag. Go to Settings > About Phone > Software Information. Tap on "Build" seven times and you will be directed to "Developer" option beside the About Phone. Then, you will find Animator Duration Scale, Transition Animation Scale, and Windows Animation Scale. You can choose to turn it off completely or adjust it according to your preference.

2. Smartphone overheats

Some LG G3 users complain that the handset gets hot. This is probably due to long hours of using the smartphone or a lot of apps are running in the background.

Solution: Kill the apps that you are not using or disable the auto-sync feature of the apps. Go to Settings > Accounts > choose an app then disable the Sync feature. Also, help your handset cool off by removing the covers that are probably trapping the heat in your smartphone.

3. Smartphone suddenly turns off

Most of the time, this problem is due to a loose or defective battery.

Solution: The most effective way to solve this is to replace the battery.
