Freebird Games, the developers of the emotional "To the Moon" recently announced that they would be coming back with a sequel titled "Finding Paradise."

The trailer for "Finding Paradise" was uploaded under the name "To the Moon 2" on Kan Gao's (one of the game's developers) YouTube channel on Nov. 22.

The trailer begins with the words "Some say they came for glory. Some say they came for a promise. Some say space shuttles don't actually go to the moon, but they were wrong" And what follows are pictures of a spacecraft and two astronauts looking down at the earth from their perch on the moon.

The trailer ends on an ominous note with the astronauts running into strange creatures as the words "they should never have come here" flash across the screen, and then a man wakes up and the trailer ends with an announcement date set to Dec. 14, 2017.

A handful of fans were thoroughly confused by the trailer. The first game "To the Moon" was the story of two doctors traveling through a dying man's memories in order to fulfill his dying wish. It was a story-driven game that wasn't heavy on action or fighting sequences. The part of the trailer, however, cleared up some of the initial confusion.

According to video game news website PC Gamer, "Finding Paradise" will still focus on the two memory-traveling doctors. This time, they enter the memories of a man named Collin Reeds in an attempt to fulfill one of his wishes. How Collin's wishes tie into the action-packed trailer have yet to be seen, but things ought to be clearer once the game hits the Steam Store in December.

The game already has a Steam page with pictures hinting at what's to come.

Reportedly excited players will not be able to pre-order "Finding Paradise."
