Colts vs Texans: Preview Thursday Night Football online [CBS]

Thursday Night Football takes place this week between the Indianapolis Colts and the Houston Texans. Both teams come into this game on 3-2 and have it all to play for; for one moving to 4-2 would put them in a strong position moving into the middle portion of the season, but for the other dropping to .500 is anything but ideal.

NFL Thursday Night Football between the Colts and Texans will start at 8.25 p.m. EST and will be broadcast on the CBS and NFL networks. The game, which takes place from the NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas, can also be watched online through live stream - free for subscribers - via the link provided below.

The Colts got off to a tough start this season, losing their opening two games against two of the strongest teams in the league this season in the Denver Broncos and Philadelphia Eagles.

However, three games later and three wins later, they are on something of a revival, and a hat-trick of victories brings them into Week 6 on 3-2 and the chance to take over the lead in the AFC South if they can claim a fourth straight win over the Texans.

The Colts were lucky in a way; after their difficult opening two games, they were handed a schedule that allowed them to find their feet again, with a Week 3 match up against arguably the poorest team in the NFL over recent seasons in the Jacksonville Jaguars, and a Week 4 game against the equally blunted Tennessee Titans.

Indianapolis took full advantage, and after claiming 44-17 and 41-17 wins in Weeks 3 and 4 respectively they regained their confidence and composure.

Week 5 was a test of how much they had rediscovered their self-belief, and they came through with flying colors, defeating the Baltimore Ravens 20-13.

Quarterback Andrew Luck described the win: "(Against Baltimore) you expect things not to go as expected. What you do expect is a tough, gritty, down-to-the-wire (game). We survived our mistakes, in a sense. We made our plays enough to get a win," according to AP.

The Texans meanwhile, will be slightly disappointed after losing in overtime to arch rivals, the Dallas Cowboys, last weekend. That loss means they are now tied for the top spot in their division, making this Thursday Night Football match up all the more exciting.
