Thursday Night Football live stream tonight [CBS]: Watch Giants vs Redskins online [TV schedule, preview]

This week's NFL Thursday Night Football game takes place tonight with the New York Giants taking on the Washington Redskins. This is a massive NFC East which could have serious Playoff implications come the end of the regular season, and both teams will be desperate to claim the win and take the advantage.

Today's big Thursday Night Football game will start at 8.25 p.m. EST, and takes place at FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland. The game will be shown on the CBS network as well as the NFL network, but can also be watched online through live stream – free for subscribers – via the link provided below.

Both of these teams come into Week 4 with 1-2 records, and both have the chance to move to a much more respectable 2-2. However, for one team, they will drop to 1-3 and face a massive uphill battle in the coming weeks if they want to stay relevant to the postseason schedule.

The Redskins recently lost a tightly contested game against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 3, but they don't have time to ponder on that defeat and must jump straight back in the saddle to face another divisional rival in the New York Giants.

The Redskins did fantastically well to remain so close to the Eagles last week, going into the final quarter with things all square at 27-27. However, it was Philadelphia that just got their noses in front to win the game 37-34, giving the Redskins nothing to show for their valiant efforts.

Meanwhile, the Giants finally halted their slide, by claiming a solid win over the Houston Texans. They will be desperate to build upon that win and follow it up with another victory today against their fierce east coast rivals.

Whoever wins today will emerge with hope that they can push on and keep in touch with the 3-0 Eagles. However, for the loser today, they will have the unwanted reward of being labeled the worst team in the division.

Thursday Night Football between the Giants and Redskins will start at 8.25 p.m. ET and can be watched online by clicking here.
