'The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt' news: Game's spotted 'Enhanced Edition' an error; Patch 1.12 now available

 The Witcher Official

"The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" was previously reported to have an Enhanced Edition, but it turns out that the report was an error.

The report, posted on NeoGAF on Monday, stated that there was a listing for "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" Enhanced Edition by E. Leclerc, a French hypermarket chain. In the company's website, it also mentioned that the new game edition is set to arrive on Feb. 5 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 (PS4), and PC.

While it may be a dream for many "The Witcher" fans, the listing is said to be an error, as announced by Michael PG aka MPG.

The CD Projekt Red representative issued a statement to IGN, saying that the listing was an error.

"@IGN There's no Enhanced Edition of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt that we are aware of, this is some kind of error that we will look into," MPG wrote on Twitter on Tuesday.

There's no official announcement regarding the game's enhanced edition; but in the meantime, fans can enjoy the new update for "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt."

The game's patch 1.12 is now available to all players and brings several fixes to the main game, GUIs, downloadable contents (DLCs), and "Hearts of Stone" expansion to improve game experience.

Some of the notable changes include improvements to the overall game performance in "Heart of Stone."

The patch also improved user interface in which the herb name is now found above available interaction. There was also a problem in which monsters that got killed would respawn after a certain period of time, but this issue has also been addressed.

Issues on the missing scabbard meshes from the witchers were also fixed.

For DLCs, problems in which a player cannot pick up a doll in the quest called "Where the Cat and Wolf Play," and the werewolf issue in the quest "Contract: Skellige's Most Wanted" were also fixed.
