'The Winds of Winter' already in publishing house awaiting release?

"Game of Thrones" season 6 has been pushed back by a month, and as previously reported, it is highly speculated that one reason for the delay was to allow author George R.R. Martin to publish his book "The Winds of Winter" before the series takes over and spoils for the readers what is yet to come.

This is further implied by a previous interview with Ediciones Gilgamesh editor Alejo Cuervo on "El Mon a RAC1" radio (via Watchers on the Wall) in which Cuervo confirmed that a copy of "The Winds of Winter" will be given before the end of this year so that he may begin working on a Spanish translation of the highly anticipated novel.

A report from Piesn Lodu I Ognia (via Winter is Coming) then surfaced revealing Polish translator Michael Jakuszewski would also be receiving a copy of the finished manuscript in order to work on the Polish version of the book.

Both reports suggest that "The Winds of Winter" is expected to be finished before the end of the year and that it will release very early in 2016. It is even speculated that the book may already be in the publishing house and is simply waiting for its scheduled 2016 release date.

It was also previously reported earlier this year that Martin cancelled several of his appearances this year in order to just focus on finishing the book. Martin also stepped away from writing the script for "Game of Thrones" season 6 in order to prioritize "The Winds of Winter."

With several translators reporting they will get a copy of the manuscript soon, it is very likely that the finished product may see a release as early as January or February next year, just a few months prior to the premiere of "Game of Thrones" season 6 which is expected to air by late April.
