'The Walking Dead' season 6 finale spoilers: Norman Reedus gives update on Daryl's fate

The Walking Dead - Daryl AMC

During the penultimate episode of "The Walking Dead" season 6 Daryl (Norman Reedus) was shot when he was ambushed by Dwight (Austin Amelio) of the Saviors. The episode did not reveal if Daryl died or not but actor Norman Reedus is continuously teasing the fans that the finale episode may indeed be his last.

Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, Reedus confirmed that the blood that splattered over the screen in the final moments of the episode were indeed Daryl's and that fans should be concerned about Daryl's fate in the upcoming final episode of season 6.

"You should be very worried about Daryl," Reedus confirms. "At the end of the episode, there's a comment that Dwight makes - 'You'll be all right' - and we're really good about throwing you off base. That comment might not even be to Daryl. It could be to Rosita - or to anybody there."

Another factor for this scenario is the factor that the studios may not kill off Glenn (Steven Yeun) given that the element of surprise is already gone and because the season already toyed with Glenn dying only to reveal he survived by crawling underneath a dumpster.

It is also important to note that Glenn was killed in the comics because he was one of the all-time fan favorites, a position now taken by Daryl in the television series. With Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) appearing in the finale episode, there is the likelihood that Dwight's gunshot or Negan's brutality will lead to Daryl's death.

However, the most revealing fact that Daryl may indeed be killed off by the finale is that the latest Twitter post from AMC The Walking Dead reveals Reedus will be appearing the next episode of "The Talking Dead." It is important to note that actors normally only appear on the after-show after their character has been killed.

"The Walking Dead" season 6 finale will air this April 3.

If you look at the Church of England’s communications all that it ever seems to highlight is the good works that Christians do to improve the temporal well-being of their neighbours. It is right to highlight these things, but they are not the primary reason for the Church’s existence.
