Latest spoilers of the upcoming fifth season of "The Walking Dead" state that Rick's group will head to Washington D.C.

The previous season of the hit TV series concluded with Rick and his gang outnumbered in a train car. The new season will pick up shortly after that and will show what Rick's group is doing in Terminus. The group will be on the hunt for the cure for the zombie mode. Moreover, the team will encounter new conflicts and obstacles even as the members struggle to keep the group together and stay alive.

AMC released two trailer videos for "The Walking Dead" season 5. It seems that everyone is heading to Terminus, even the Walkers. The promo videos show that the series regulars will battle both the living and the undead.

Rick and his team will not be the only group of people headed for Terminus. Carol, Tyreese and Judith reunite with the core group and head in the same direction. There has been no clear indication about Beth Greene's whereabouts after she was kidnapped by unknown men. However, the promo video hints that Beth could also be in Terminus, most particularly in a hospital.

With the hospital as a new location next season, this leads to speculations that the cure or the antidote for the virus is being held there. The hospital looks sterile and it seems like a controlled environment. It is safe to bet that the location may point to some clues about the cure. However, there could be a price since Walkers have been spotted in the hospital.

The fifth season of the zombie apocalypse series is reported to be full of death, which is nothing new for the fans, although AMC has not confirmed which characters will exit the series next season.

"The Walking Dead" season 5 is confirmed to have 16 episodes and will be back on air on Oct. 12 at 9 p.m. on AMC.
