Stefan will turn to an unlikely person after the death of his brother, Damon, in the sixth season of "The Vampire Diaries".

Stefan lost his brother and blamed himself for the shocking death of Damon. Damon and Bonnie got trapped in the Other Side after saving Stefan and Elena. Due to his untimely death, Stefan will be emotional dealing with his brother's demise and will reportedly seek comfort with Caroline that could possibly develop into something romantic.

Stefan was also reported to be seeking comfort with enemy-turned-friend Enzo. Fans are well aware that Enzo framed Stefan for his murder in order to take revenge.

Damon angered Enzo after the former revealed that he killed Maggie, Enzo's long lost love. Then, the Augustine vampire vowed to avenge the death of his mate and tried to create a rift between the two Salvatores.

"The Vampire Diaries" killed off a number of characters last season. Moreover, a lot of fans were shocked to see one of the Salvatores go last season. However, latest reports claimed that there will be new characters to be added next season.

According to Carter Matt, actress Gabrielle Walsh landed a recurring role in the vampire TV series as Sarah. She is a new comer in Mystic Falls. The report described her as "ambitious, full of life experience, but also acts a little like she has something to hide."

There were speculations that Sarah will be a love interest of one of the characters in the series. Jeremy and Matt are two possible suspects to hit it off with Sarah. However, it could be too soon for Jeremy after Bonnie died. Meanwhile, it has been a while since Matt had someone.

"The Vampire Diaries" season 6 will premiere on October 2 on The CW Network.
