'The Sims 4' release date is here: Faster-paced game, but with several launch bugs and no version for Mac

"The Sims 4" features a lot of improvements from the previous game and the changes are noteworthy. One of which is that "The Sims 4" respects and considers the time of players.

Compared to the previous "Sims" games where it would take you a while to build a house, in this one, the processes are streamlined for better efficiency. There's a catalog for all interactions and activities. As for building homes, players can create houses with just a few clicks. Further, they can import the entire house from the gallery too.

Talk about efficiency, "The Sims 4" wants you to choose how you'll spend your time in the game, whether you'll want to automate or do things manually.

On the other hand, while the new game is applauded for it's faster pace, there were still a couple of bugs present during the launch. Some of which are pathing issues, levitating rooftops and demonic noodle babies, reports Polygon.

It sure does look exciting to give "The Sims 4" a go, but sadly, Mac users won't be able to. This is sad news for all Mac users who are fans of "The Sims." There are no available versions for Mac right now, or maybe, not yet.

"We are focused on the PC version. We have no updates on the Mac at this time," said an EA Spokesperson to Bustle.

"The Sims 4" does feature an improved and more complicated world where the players have more customizable options. The Sims are easier to personalize as they can now be detailed into the minute facial features. The Sims can also multitask and have better interactions and emotions as well.

While it is clear that the focus is on the PC, Mac users shouldn't lose hope. After all, the pool isn't available yet, so there's always a chance it will come around sooner or later.
