'The Originals' season 3 spoilers: Cami explores her vampire powers in episode 11

The Originals CW

The midseason premiere for "The Originals" season 3 featured the shocking transformation of Cami (Leah Pipes) into a vampire, and according to a report from TVLine, she will now be spending her time in future episodes exploring her new powers and the "dark impulses" that they come with.

Executive producer Michael Narducci explained that Cami would be "in for a long transition in discovering who she is as a vampire. She's going to swing in the way of exploring her impulses and embracing the newfound power that she has."

Narducci also explains that Klaus (Joseph Morgan) was exactly designed to be a good mentor or guide and that their decision for him to tag along as her influencing force would eventually bring out the worst in both characters. It is hinted that this may lead to either Klaus or Cami making wrong -- and at times dangerous -- decisions.

Morgan echoed these sentiments as he stated that Klaus was set to make some decisions that would cause an avalanche of problems, eventually leading to what is promised to be a tragic season finale. Fans speculate that one of the mistakes he'll be committing is to allow Cami to further explore her powers until she can no longer control them.

However, the official synopsis for the episode (via Cartermatt), does not mention Cami at all and this is stated to most likely be due to the fact that the synopsis was released prior to the release of the midseason premiere. Instead, it merely mentions that Klaus will deal with "pressing matters" at home, which are likely related to teaching Cami.

The synopsis does state that Elijah (Daniel Gillies) with temporarily and reluctantly join forces with Aya (guest star Tracy Ifeachor)  as the latter reveals she is aware of a powerful but elusive weapon that could kill an Original permanently.

"The Originals" season 3 episode 11 will air this Feb. 5.

If you look at the Church of England’s communications all that it ever seems to highlight is the good works that Christians do to improve the temporal well-being of their neighbours. It is right to highlight these things, but they are not the primary reason for the Church’s existence.
