The premiere of "The Mentalist" season 7 is just a week away and fans are dying to know what's going to happen to Patrick Jane and Teresa Lisbon's new-found relationship. Given that this will be the final season of the show, fans are also expecting some storylines to have closure. But before all that, the team will be working on interesting cases first to get the ball rolling.

As for Patrick and Teresa's love life, they prefer to keep it to themselves first and just continue with work. However, there's an FBI rookie joining the department and she's none other than Agent Michelle Vega. Based on past spoilers, Michelle is a possible love interest for Patrick.

But more than that, Michelle plays an important role in the new season, work-wise. She is aggressive and she knows what she wants and, according to Spoiler TV, Patrick already figures out her personality even at their initial meeting.  The website does assure viewers that Michelle is someone they'd like.  With that, fans can brace themselves — she isn't someone they would love to hate, but actually someone they'd learn to love.

Meanwhile, Spoiler TV dropped several teasers for the premiere episode, too. The site says that Patrick and Teresa definitely show that love is in the air as they can't stop smiling.  Also, Cho isn't so tough that he is unable to give someone a hug — because he can.

Moreover, Kim Fischer's whereabouts will be revealed and she will be giving someone a sweet message. As for Abbott, even if things are kept from him, he will always learn about them later on.

Last but not least, Patrick and Pike's confrontation is something to watch out for. But after that, Marcus will also give his piece about what happened.

Meanwhile, fans can check out photos on the set of season 7 at Karl Sonnenberg's Twitter account.

"The Mentalist" will return on CBS on Nov. 30.
