'The Mentalist' season 7 episode 2 spoilers: Teresa Lisbon to go to prison

Last week, the premiere episode of "The Mentalist" season 7 aired and fans can't wait to get more of Patrick Jane and Teresa Lisbon in this last and final season. So, what's to be expected in the next episode?

Previously, Patrick and Teresa discussed their relationship and long-term plans. The two decided to keep their relationship a secret, but this doesn't mean that the two are just keeping things as they are. However, Patrick did make it clear that he doesn't have a plan about them yet.

But things take a different turn for Teresa in episode 2 titled "The Greybar Hotel." Teresa focuses on an undercover assignment. According to the synopsis, "Lisbon goes undercover as a prison inmate in order to get a convict to turn on her boyfriend, who is the leader of a high-end car theft ring."

Actress Robin Tunney takes the spotlight in the upcoming episode as her character Teresa dons an orange jumpsuit this time around. It's all for the love of her job and to solve a case that moves her to get valuable information from a female convict.  At any rate, the agent is the perfect agent for the job, not only because she's a woman but also because she can easily gain the trust of someone and get the details she needs. It's definitely a risky operation for her, but she will do what she must.

The promo video for season 7 episode 2 has been released but as Carter Matt describes, it's not a very revealing one, especially if one would base it on the synopsis alone. The promo shows the different characters and the cases they will be handling in the future.

"The Mentalist" season 7 will only have 13 episodes. With one down, there are 12 more to go. Fans shouldn't miss the next one airing on CBS this Sunday night.
